nice. wait, i thought gear wasn’t important.
    =)

  2. I bought a second-hand Hasselblad 500 somewhere in 2004 and sold it in 2009. I still miss it though. I wish I hadn’t sold it. On the other hand, I’m not going to shoot film again, but still, that 6×6 format looks gorgeous. Last year, I had the chance to shoot with a Mamiya RB67, but in the end I didn’t use it. Recently, a photographer friend created some portraits of me with her Mamiya RB67 🙂

I’m still happy I made the switch from DSLR to Fuji X-Pro1 a few years ago. It’s lightweight (I’m mostly using the XF23 and XF35), and most important, it does the job for me.

It’s interesting to see how you audio equipment shrunk in size.

      Serge,
I am actually going to use my Zoom again, when I can travel with it. Sound is better, better for ambient and far more durable.

    Hi Dan,

I’ve been following your blogs for some time now, and always learning as a result. I shoot Fuji now, though I would love to shoot Leica film as well. Some day, maybe. At any rate, I also have a Canon S95, the precursor to your S100. Those little cameras shoot great video and capture excellent quality audio! Pretty amazing for something so small.

      David,
I just plucked that little S100 out of my bag and placed it back in the closet at home. Just not finding a way to fit it in. Shooting Polaroids mostly. Recording sound, making truly horrific drawings.
